Summertime is nigh!!!

With only two hours of school remaining, I think I can safely declare that summer is here! Crisi and I will be heading to the beach in 16 days for fun in the sun. And Nicole's moving to town, which means more badmintonin', bikin', and drinkin'. Things are looking promising!

Messing around with Crisi's new 12MP digital camera, I switched on the black and white mode and started shooting. After adjusting the contrast, I was pleased with the results.

I just got back

from a 3 day field trip with 170 sixth-graders to a 4H camp in Columbia. I had a great time spending time with the youth of today. I even got to rock out with some other teachers to "Say It Ain't So," "Blackbird," and "Sweet Home Alabama," the latter of which caused all of the kids to bum rush the stage and sing along. As with everything, if I am gonna be involved I am gonna bring the thunder or I ain't gonna be involved at all.

Inspired by my tech-savvy compadres, I decided to start a blog. I've had a rocky, offagainonagain relationship with the internet in the past, but baby I'm on again. The thunder will last as long as God keeps bowlin'.
